Vendor Information

Some information first...

*Fee for participation is $35. This money will be used entirely to pay for advertising the event. We will print postcards, place ads in the newspaper, print banners, send blast e-mails, facebook, and anything else we can think of.

*Commission is 15% of your total sales. We will have a central checkout where guests will pay for their purchases and you will be assigned a vendor number for tracking your sales.   You will be mailed a check two weeks after the show.

*We are not responsible for losses due to damage or theft.

*Artisan Fair will be held on Saturday, July 31st, 2010 from 9 am to 7 pm.

*Set up will be Friday, August 6th from 6 pm to 8 pm for vendors located inside the studio. For vendors located in the outdoor tents, set up will be Saturday morning at 7 am and must be completed by 8:30 am. STRICTLY ENFORCED COMPLETION TIME.

*The building is a charming, old house and therefore the rooms are small. There is a large parking lot in the back of the building and we will have shade tents set up around the perimeter of the parking lot for more vendors. We want it to feel like a fun, summer atmosphere with music and lots of fun shopping both indoors and out. If you have preference on whether you are inside or out, we will take that into consideration and distribute the most desired spaces on a first come, first served basis. We are confident that all the spots will be good ones!

*We are hoping that you will try to think outside the box with your displays. There isn't a lot of room for everyone to bring 6" tables. For this reason, spaces will be 5" in length, but you have floor to ceiling within that 5", so use it! Some of the spaces will be in the kitchen, near a fireplace with a mantle, or in corners, so we are assigning spaces before hand and e-mailing you a photo so you can see what you have to work with.
If you are an outdoor vendor, you are welcome to bring your 6" tables.

*All tables and table legs must be covered. No hand written signs. We want the event to look professional.

*All product must be priced and labeled with your vendor number.

*You are not required to be present during the whole show, but we recommend it.  You'll want to keep your space tidy and well-stocked.  And, it's fun!  People like to meet the artists and talk to them about their creations!
